This page holds information about the workshops and courses run by Professional Development in the area of learning and teaching. These range from a suite of stand-alone workshops on a range of topics, to the following award-bearing courses:

- Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE)
You may also be interested in the University's on-line resources for staff who teach in HE. The PESL (Promoting and Enhancing Student Learning) initiative has published websites on Teaching at Nottingham, Thinking about Dyslexia, and Taking Ownership of E-learning to share good and innovative practice in the University. TeachTube draws together the videos from across the subject-specific websites.
For postgraduate research students who are starting demonstrating, tutorial or marking work, research staff, or others who are new to teaching, there are resources to get you started in the New to Teaching? section.
